Free for the taking

Can you beat free? This gem was leaning on a light post not far from my neighborhood with the sad last ditch sign "FREE." Poor guy was rejected and lucky for me I could see his potential. He's pretty "aged," but not the kind that I'm wanting. This guy is gonna get a total overhaul turning him into a stately artistic bench. I have a vision in my mind of perhaps dark grey or turquoise chalk paint with a tinted wax. He's gonna be special.
